


Mr. Castaño has taken Geometrica from the start in 1992 to its present world-leading position as supplier of domes and space frames. Castaño led the engineering for the record-breaking Nemak freedomes. He holds several patents, an MBA from the University of Michigan, a Masters degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Civil Engineering degree from ITESM. He chairs Geometrica’s Board of Directors and assembled its current operating team.
Mr. Castaño is co-founder of Geometrica. He has an MBA and an Industrial Engineer degree from ITESM. He has led Geometrica through numerous projects, including the fabrication and installation of the four 224m span Nemak domes, the startup of Geometrica's Taiwan plant, and the set up of Geometrica's European business units. Before co-founding Geometrica, Mr. Castaño led the manufacturing department at a large steel fabrication company.

Dr. del Toro holds a PhD from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in Paris and is an expert in the design of long span metal structures. With Geometrica since 1996, he heads a department with ten engineers and is fluent in French, English and Spanish, and has consistently delivered quality designs in scores of technologically forefront projects.

Mr. Zalba is a Civil Engineer and holds a Master's Degree in Administration from ITESM with several years of experience in structural design and international sales and marketing. Mr. Zalba oversees Geometrica's worldwide representation and sales network. During his tenureship, Geometrica has secured work on every continent, including the Ruwais Sulphur dome in Abu Dhabi, the Zaldivar dome in Chile and many others.

Mr. Zamora is a Civil Engineer and Master in Administration from ITESM. Since starting with Geometrica in 1999, he has developed long-term relationships with customers by being the link between them and the rest of the organization. He has overseen over 80 special structure projects.

Ms. Castellanos is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master's in Finance from ITESM. She has worked with Geometrica in the implementation of audit and accounting systems to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as the Administrative procedures for Geometrica's QMS. She is responsible for the preparation of Financial reports to Geometrica's Board of Directors, Shareholders and banks. The company's Human Resources function is also under her watch, and she developed training and skills charts to ensure all personnel are capable of delivering quality outputs.

Mr. Contreras is a Mechanical Engineer from ITESM. He manages all productive areas of Geometrica as well as Maintenance and Quality. He first joined Geometrica in 1996. He manages two production plants in Monterrey, and also managed Geometrica's Taiwan production facility during its operation in 2006 to 2007, where four of the largest coal storage domes in the world were manufactured and installed.
